Dancers Go To Nationals

Local Dancers SHINE at Dance Nationals
Dancers from local Moorpark studio, Pam Rossi’s Dance Ten, attended the Move National Finals in Palm Springs, CA and came home with numerous awards including two National Championships. Elizabeth Sutton,16, was awarded Top Senior Soloist with her dance “The Chain” choreographed by Michael Williams. Deanna Okada, 18, Elizabeth Sutton, 16, and Emily Sutton,14, swept the Senior Duo/Trio division with their dance number, “Heavy in Your Arms”, choreographed by Shannon Pape.
Four group numbers were amongst the elite top groups and asked to compete again in the final dance off competition. Competing in the Petite 8 & under division was “Move” choreographed by Rachel DuBusky. “My Song” choreographed by Val Manchin represented the Teen 12-14 division and Senior 15 & over division had the Small Group “Come Together” choreographed by Rachel DuBusky and Large Group “Journey” choreographed by Michael Williams. All four group numbers came home with prize monies for their efforts.

Musical Theater For the Fall

Our dance companies will be performing at Knotts Berry Farm this month. Dancers will showcase dance numbers in Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. This will be the 17th year our dancers have graced the stage at Knotts Berry Farm.

Dancers Go Back To Visit SYTYCD Dancers After Show Tour.

Some of our dancers attended ” So You Think You Can Dance Tour” in Los Angeles dance show at the Staple Center. Our dancers came to see some of their dancing idols dance in a spetacular show. The SYTYCD Dancers did not miss a beat. The costumes were lavish. The shows choreography and staging was creative and electrifing. It was an inspiration to watch. After the show our dancers went to meet with SYTYCD dancers and a night to never forget!

The two professional dancers are talented,vivacious and amazing teachers.

Dancers Perform on Paramount Backlot

Wonderful memories! Dancers at Dance Ten had fun performing with Naturi a talented artist from the popular movie Fame. The dancers performed on the Paramount Backlot New York City Streets to her song Fame. The dancers celebrated in the festivities of the Power of Youth which honors young celebrities that have given their energy and time to charities.

After everyone was finished with this uplifting event, everyone went over to the sound stage 29 on the Paramount lot to visit where Pam used to spend some pretty fun years taping the 1980′s hit television series Solid Gold.

These are sisters are wearing Courtney Galiano (So You Think You Can Dance All Star) dance wear fashions. Courtney as been a guest Master teacher here at the studio and you can read more about Courtney’s Master Class Event. Courtney’s dance wear is very comfortable and great colors.
