Michelle and Danial offer a unique program together: Their rhythm and styles of dance and theatre are seamless and they love collaborating creatively. Their talent and energy is infectious in the room and a treat for those who participate. Besides the Technique Classes taught by these two masters, we also offer special skills! Michelle has starred in feature films, on Broadway, recorded music, and danced with world famous ballet companies, including Russia’s Kirov Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, New York. Michelle starred in the original TV series for NBC, “Fame” based on the successful film. Danial has worked with Michelle for fifteen years in TV, film, theatre and setting industrials such as the all-star event at the Nokia Theatre in 2009 for Nuskin starring Debbie Reynolds, Peobo Bryson and Gladys Knight and 40 dancers, aerialists and specialty artists. Danial has starred on Broadway in Saturday Night Fever and in Australia he was featured in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Wicked for long runs.

Alex Fetbroth is a professional dancer and teacher and is best known for his dancing appearance in the Hannah Montana Movie. He has won many awards and titles which include Mr. Headliner, Mr. Global Dance, Dancer of the Year. His choreography was nominated for the World Hip Hop Championship in Germany. He has assisted choreographers such as Brian Friedman, Geo Hubela, Kenny Wormald and Kelly Peters. He has performed in many videos and live stage performances such as Monsters Hip Hop 2010, Pulse Gala Show, Miley Cirus’ Fly on the Wall, American Music Awards, and American Dance Awards.

Dancers Showcase Their Talents

Dancers, singers and actors performed with their hearts in a very entertaining show. The show consisted of all styles of dance. Jazz,Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary. Our Gymnastics class flip-floped inside out and upside down with their amazing tricks. The Musical Theater students graced the stage and entertained us with a song from Hairspray. Congratulations everyone, you did it!

Simi Valley Relay For Life

Dance Ten is a proud supporter in cancer research and supporters for Relay for Life. Our dancers and friends and families will be walking with team Make a Wish on Saturday October 24th and 25th in Simi Valley. We will be dancing the night away in better hopes for a cure:) Come join us!

Actor Gregg Sulkin stopped by the studio to pick up a few dance steps and support Moorpark Civic Ballets Fundraiser. Gregg is from England. You can see Gregg playing Selena Gomez boyfriend on the TV show “Wizards of Waverly”

Courtney Galiano’s Master Classes at Dance Ten

Courtney Galiano from ‘So You Think You can Dance’ Fame will be back to teach Master Class at Pam Rossi’s Dance Ten. Courtney, who is a a contemporary dancer from Commack, New York has trained in lyrical dance, tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop.Courtney was 4th runner up in the 4th season in the famed show So You Think You Can Dance and has returned as an All Star Dancer on SYTYCD. She is now touring with all the top 5 dancers in SYTYCD plus the All Star Dancers in the United States. Courtney will be dancing on November 16th at the Nokia Theater in Los Angelas.

Dancers Go To Lunch With Celebrity Samantha Droke

Dancers and Actors Chloe Dequet, Amelie Dequet and Macey Alexander won a lunch with Actress Samantha Droke through Moorpark Civic Ballets Fundraiser. The dancers had lunch and they were able to ask Samantha some questions about her career as an actress. She also shared some of her experiences that she had on a TV show she just had finished.

Kristen started her gymnastics training at the age of four. With a love for the sport she moved quickly to the advanced level of gymnastics. At the age of sixteen Kristen was asked to teach gymnastics and choreograph the yearly gymnastics demonstrations. Kristen’s gymnastics teaching background consists of teaching one year olds to adults, beginning to advanced gymnasts, training on the floor, bars, beam, vault, trampoline, mini trampoline and tumble trak trampoline. She also studied and taught rhythmic gymnastics, men’s gymnastics, gymnastics conditioning, cheerleading, stunting, tumbling and trampoline classes. Kristen is certified by USAG, KAT and the American Red Cross. Her students have gone on to use their training for television, film, commercials, competitive gymnastics teams, cheerleading teams, dance teams, university gymnastics teams, university cheerleading teams, and to become gymnastics instructors. Kristen has performed in and choreographed routines for numerous parades, exhibitions, has been featured in newspapers, television and dance routines. In school, Kristen was on the drill team and was co-captain of her cheerleading team, while studying and teaching gymnastics. She received her Associate degree in Radio and Television and has attended regional gymnastics training classes. Her teaching style is all about technique and form. Being able to share her knowledge with students and watch them grow into strong gymnasts is very rewarding to her.
